Our Story
Find Yourself Here
Moon Flower Hill is fifteen private acres in the oaks above Lake Travis — a family-led estate built for the kind of gatherings that deserve a place of their own.
Our Story
Built From a Single Idea
Moon Flower Hill started with a question: what would it look like to host a wedding or corporate event on a property that felt private, unhurried, and actually yours for the day — not one of three parallel bookings, not a ballroom, not a package.
The answer was to build it. We put the estate on fifteen acres above Lake Travis because the land was right — ancient oaks, long views, and the kind of quiet you only get outside the city. Then we designed each space around the way people actually gather: ceremony under the trees, dinner in the Pavilion, conversation on the Veranda long after the music stops.
“Find Yourself Here” isn’t marketing. It’s the through-line: a place where the day slows down and the people you brought come into focus.

The Land
Fifteen Acres on Lake Travis
The property sits above Lake Travis in Volente — about thirty minutes northwest of downtown Austin, far enough to leave the city behind, close enough that guests can still make the drive. The land rises through oak groves to an iron-railing overlook with a long view of the lake and the Hill Country beyond it.
We kept the oaks. They’re the oldest things on the property and the reason the site feels the way it does. The buildings were designed to sit beneath the canopy rather than compete with it — glass walls at Luna Manor that bring the grove inside, a Pavilion that opens onto the lawn, a Veranda built around an outdoor fireplace.
When the Glass House opens in March 2027, it becomes the capstone — a floor-to-ceiling glass pavilion for 350-guest seated dinners and larger celebrations, still nestled in the same oaks that anchor the rest of the estate.
How We Host
Three Things That Don’t Change
Whatever the event — a quiet family wedding, a corporate off-site, a 500-person gala in the Glass House — the way we run the property stays the same.
01
Private by Default
One event on the calendar at a time. When the day is yours, the entire fifteen acres is yours — no shared spaces, no parallel weddings, no vendors crossing paths with a different party.
02
No Lock-Ins
We provide the property and run the bar. Everything else — caterer, planner, florist, photographer, DJ — is your call. We keep a preferred-vendor list because we trust those teams, not because we take a cut.
03
Built to Last
The estate was planned as a generational property, not a venue flip. We invested in the land, the architecture, and the people who work here so the experience holds up ten years from now the way it does on opening day.
