Real weddings, real events, real recaps. Here's where we'll tell them — and why it matters that the venue is the one telling the story.
Every venue has a gallery. We wanted something different — a place where the events that happen on this land get to be written down, not just photographed. Welcome to Memories.
What goes here
Real weddings and real events, told in enough detail that a future couple or planner can actually learn something from them. Who the vendors were. What the flow looked like. What the couple wished they'd known. The moments that worked.
Why we're writing them ourselves
Photography captures the surface of a day. What it can't tell you is how the dinner service kept time, why the ceremony started seventeen minutes late and it didn't matter, or how a thunderstorm got absorbed into the first dance and became the story everyone tells.
When the venue tells the story, you get the structural details — the ones that are most useful if you're planning your own.
The first recaps are coming
We're working with a handful of recent couples on their event features. Each one will include the full vendor credit list, the property flow, and a short essay from the couple — in their own words — about what the day felt like.
The best wedding advice is a story about someone else's wedding.
Check back through the spring. And if you'd like to be part of a future feature, let us know — we love telling these stories.
