Moon Flower Hill is a private estate wedding and event venue on fifteen exclusive acres in Volente, Texas, overlooking Lake Travis, about thirty minutes from downtown Austin. Many of the celebrations we host run across several days, and we need a sales representative who already understands how those events come together.

What this role is
This is a commission-based independent contractor (1099) position. You run your own business and set your own schedule. You will be a primary guide for couples and planners who are considering Moon Flower Hill for a multi-day wedding. At a high level, the work includes:
- Responding to inquiries with warmth, clarity, and good follow-up, from anywhere
- Understanding the shape of a celebration: dates, guest count range, which events, and how many days
- Scheduling and leading tours on site in Volente, within booking windows and by appointment only
- Explaining how the estate supports ceremonies and events across several days
- Explaining our bring-your-own-vendor model, including caterers, decorators, and other vendors who serve these celebrations, with our in-house TABC bar
- Using the Moon Flower Hill booking system for leads, so no good conversation goes quiet
- Handing booked clients into the next planning steps with the rest of the team
This is relationship work more than hard-close work. Couples are making a big decision, often with many people weighing in. Inquiries are handled from anywhere, venue tours happen on site in Volente, and compensation details are shared after you apply.
The experience we are looking for
We are looking for relevant experience. The best fit has worked closely with multi-day weddings and cultural celebrations and can speak to them with confidence, such as:
- Familiarity with planning multi-day weddings and cultural celebrations, including ceremonies and events across several days
- Working knowledge of how timelines, spaces, and logistics differ across celebration types
- Experience with large guest counts and how that affects flow, parking, seating, and timing
- Experience coordinating with caterers and other vendors, and helping couples understand how a bring-your-own-vendor venue works
- Professional relationships with wedding planners, caterers, decorators, and other vendors who serve these celebrations
- A background in event planning, hospitality sales, wedding sales, or real estate where you built trust with clients making a large, personal decision
You do not need to check every box. If you have solid experience planning or selling multi-day weddings and you are organized, honest, and good with follow-up, we would like to hear from you.
What you will learn about the estate
You will learn the property well: the grounds, the Pavilion, the Lake Travis overlook, and how spaces can be used across consecutive days. You will also learn how we talk about what is true today. We are a private estate overlooking Lake Travis, not a beachfront resort. We host one celebration at a time. Nearby hotel partners support guest lodging today. The Glass House is opening in March 2027.
